My top 5 London venues right now and why - December 2020

We all know London has a lot of venues to offer, so I want to help narrow down the pool of the very best for you and give you 5 of the best venues around right now.

The HAC

The HAC is a unique and well-equipped City of London hybrid events venue. This is one my favourite venues in the city for a whole host of reasons. Its central location makes it an uber convenient choice for your physical attendees, whilst exceptional AV and tech facilities ensure an engaging experience for those taking part virtually. The setting is prestigious and historic, providing an exciting contrast to the modern format of hybrid events.

Central Hall Westminster

Central Hall Westminster is a wonderful choice of venue for when you're west of the river. They're an award-winning conference & events venue as well as a popular choice of central London filming location. This stunning period venue is perfect for a whole host of events, including as the backdrop for virtual and hybrid events. It benefits from a central London location, a Grade II* listed status and offers 23 rooms for up to 2400 people.

W12 Conferences

This West London gem is ideal if you want to host a meeting or conference in the city without really being in the city. It's much easier to reach by car and still easy to reach by tube and bus too. It's a popular choice as a London conference centre and offers a practical choice of spaces ranging from the intimate to the sizeable. Plus, it's also managed by the NHS, which means any profits from events here go straight back towards training new doctors and nurses for the service. What's not to love?

Congress Centre

I love this one for it's unique 1950s style and understated feel. It's incredibly well-equipped, even for a large conference venue in London, and can host events for crowds of up to 500. Their hybrid event facilities are first-class, having hosted one of the largest virtual events of the year (TUC annual Congress 2020) and better yet, their hire prices are incredibly affordable. It also benefits from a great central London location, sandwiched between Bloomsbury and Soho. I can wholeheartedly recommend!

BMA House

Home of the prestigious British Medical Association, these sizeable headquarters are also available to hire for events - and I'm forever glad they are! This grand venue has more than 20 types and sizes of space to choose from, ensuring there is always one to suit your brief. Not only does it have some of the best meeting rooms Kings Cross has to offer, but top-notch facilities, world class catering and a dedicated event team all work to take your event here above and beyond. Did I mention it's in central London too?
