Icon Siam

This is also called the "Mother of All Malls" for its sheer size and grandeur. The mall came up quite recently and has been designed to look very modern and elegant. There is an array of shops in there selling local and international brands and the mall is always on the ball with entertainment too. Thai dances and kickboxing performances are often staged on the ground floor. If all that window shopping made you hungry you could head over to the food court for a snack. Icon Siam is situated by the Chao Phraya river close to many a Bangkok city hotel.

2

Terminal 21

No, this has nothing to do with the airport, but you do get to see the world while you shop as well. How is that possible? London, Caribbean, Rome, San Francisco and Tokyo are the names of the floors in the mall. There is a wide variety of choice when it comes to shops for clothes, electronics and cosmetics. Terminal 21 is also well known for its awesome restaurants and cafes. It is centrally located and just a 24-minute drive away from Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok.

Chatuchak Weekend Market

This is one of the largest street markets in Bangkok and is definitely a tourist puller. Even if you are not going to purchase anything from here, just take a small stroll passing the many stalls and you just might be tempted. There is just so much of things available ranging from fresh vegetables to souvenir items. There are many stalls selling handicrafts and the aroma food that's cooking on the number of stoves out there is quite intense. You will definitely be splurging on some tasty eats if not anything else at Chatuchak Weekend Market.

4

This is probably the most high-end mall out there in Bangkok with stores from several international brands like Luis Vuitton, Diane Von Furstenberg, Issey Miyake, Jimmy Choo and much more. It is the ideal place to do your shopping if you are not travelling on a budget. But if you are, then window shopping will do. The Helix is the most popular spot in the mall for its many restaurants offering many kinds of cuisines to try.
