Now the largest African-American-owned wine company in the United States, Robin and Andréa created the McBride Sisters Collection to unite their parallel lives and passion for fine wine.
To the McBride Sisters, Black Girl Magic is more than a phrase. It’s a feeling. A look. A mood. A taste. Their luxury Black Girl Magic collection is an ode to their culture and story, inspired by the magic and resilience of Black women, to be enjoyed by all.
We’ll be re-stocking our fine wine and spirits portfolio at rustyrabbitspiritslounge.com with the McBride Sisters Black Girl Magic Wine Collection soon. Subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to know when it’s back in stock.
Secondly, Revel Spirits. This unique brand was founded by Micah McFarlane and Jacqui Thompson, who teamed up with Susan Clausen and Héctor Ruiz.
In 2018 Revel Spirits created a new agave-based spirit category called Avila, made from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Morelos region of Mexico.
Revel Spirits Core ethos is to support the local community and environment where Avila is made, whilst also creating delicious and unique spirits.
We’re excited to see Revel Spirits expanding the agave spirits category. With tequila and mezcal already displayed in most home’s alcohol cabinets, we can’t wait to see avila starting to follow in their footsteps.
Next we have veteran owned, hand-crafted spirits from Shadow Ridge Spirits Company.
Sean Hallman and his wife, Lisa Ireland are the team behind this boutique brand, spending their weekends creating their 100 percent grain to glass whiskies, aged in American White Oak barrels.
Ten to One Founder, Marc Farrell, is a student to rum having been born and raised in the carribean where he acquired a deep sense of appreciation for both the heritage of rum, and the broader role that it plays in contemporary Caribbean culture.
We first spotted Ten to One Rum recently when we were in the LA Spirits Awards with them and they took home the best rum award. We LOVE what they’re doing and are excited to see their contemporary blends, designed to challenge expectations, and reinvigorate the way people taste, experience, and talk about rum! They’re mixing things up in the fine wine and spirits industry and we are here for it!
Finally, Lapin Rouillé. This luxury champagne brand is due to launch just in time for Christmas. We’re particularly excited about this one as it’s the first product to come out of our very own Rusty Rabbit Drinks warren.
You heard it here first.
