Here is a list of at least 10 different resources for promoting an effective learning environment to accommodate all students' differing needs and diversity and convey high expectations to all students and show appreciation & respect for cultural, linguistic, and family backgrounds. These resources consist of stories, informational text, multimedia, a resource for teachers, and parents, and community members.
In this 1992 Oprah Show episode, award-winning anti-racism activist and educator Jane Elliott taught the audience a tough lesson about racism by demonstrating just how easy it is to learn prejudice.
I would use this video in my classroom to teach my students that prejudice isn't okay and hurts people's feelings when they are treated unfairly due to something they cannot control.

The stresses and strains will impact your family, similar to any other disease or illness, and should be treated the same, with love and unconditional support.

I think this article is very informational, and informative. I would use this article for my future classroom because i feel as though this article goes more in-depth as to why its so important for schools to be diverse. This article also gives many examples on how to make schools more diverse, and why it is so important for schools to be diverse.
I personally would love to show this video in my future classrooms, i think that this video is a great way to briefly explain why diversity is so important. Also it discusses how the diversity in schools has nearly doubled. I think a quick video is always good to add into session plans on occasion so the kids don't have to only listen to you talk, they can hear the information in other ways too.
Communication activities for students and kids will help improve communication skills in children of all ages and will be beneficial for generations to come.

This article not only has tons of information, but it has examples on how to make the learning fun by incorporating games that help improve communication for all ages.
This video is great for younger kids when discussing Stereotypes. I will definitely use this video in my future classroom since i want to teach Kindergarten. I absolutely love the quote "never judge a book by it's cover" and i think this video did a great job explaining the meaning behind it in a kid friendly way.
