The Crucible: End of act 3 (when Proctor decides to be hanged instead of betraying his friends and to prove the madness of these accusations). I’ll never forget it because it is such an important and shocking decision. I also think that it is a great ending, because it proves that some people will go through hell to make and prove the things that are right

The Crucible: act 3- Proctor´s confession (Facu)

When Proctor continues to push for his wife's release, he is forced into the position of confessing his relationship(adulteress)with Abigail Williams. This is enough to get him arrested (and executed under Salem's law), but it is not until Mary Warren accuses him of witchcraft that Proctor is actually arrested.

Journey, end of story (Antara)

Journey, end of story (Antara)

Journey, end of the book. This last part is so memorable and frustrating because it shows the reality. People that have a lot of power only care for money instead of taking care of Earth and respecting different cultures. And the ones who had no power gained nothing. This is told in New Zealand, but it could also be in another country (for example, here in Argentina)

The Open Boat (chapter VII) Ana

The Open Boat (chapter VII) Ana

The open boat: chapter VII
The part that the boat sank and the captain helped the correspondent to go out of the current, although it was very risky, and he was injured. This shows that even though the consequences can be very bad (in this case dying), if it's a good friend you have to do everything for him, making an act of friendship and not being selfish

On her Knees: when Carol is accused of stealing a pair of earrings and her attitudes (Martín)

On her Knees: when Carol is accused of stealing a pair of earrings and her attitudes (Martín)

On her knees. ( the part when Carol is accused of stealing a pair of earrings and her attitudes). This part was very important for me because although she is accused of stealing some pair of earrings she decides to go to that house and finish her work properly. She is being blamed for something she has not done, she feels sad and helpless because she knows that she can't prove her innocence, she knows that with “these people” she can´t fight back and they can say anything they like and despite all this injustice she goes and does her work. I like the conversations with her son Victor showing him that working hard and honestly are dignified and the story shows dignity and pride when she decides not to take the money of her work though it’s her right.

The Crucible act 4:When we find out that the girls had run out (Balthazar).

The Crucible act 4:When we find out that the girls had run out, this was a memorable bit because we realised what a mess they made even though they knew they couldn’t get away anymore they couldn’t make dislike bigger because it was killing lots of people so they had to escape.
