1

Wat Pariwat

It's quite normal that a football fan does crazy things for his love for the sport. But, have you ever heard of a football fan building a statue of his favourite player inside a temple? That's not common, is that? In Bangkok, located within close vicinity to Maitria Rama 9 Hotel, you'll find this temple, initially known as Wat Pariwat, with a mural carving of the ever-popular football player David Beckham. It's a fan-made creation and due to this fact, the temple is also called the David Beckham Temple of Bangkok today.

The Forensic Museum in Bangkok

This unusual museum is located at the Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok, and you should have a certain level of bravery to visit this mysterious place. What you'll see inside are all about human anatomy, and because of this reason, they strictly advise not to take kids with you when coming to see this museum. There are deformed babies kept in glass jars and they would give nightmares for the light-hearted.

Elephant Tower

If you are keen on learning about the popular landmarks of the city during your stay at your boutique hotel in Bangkok, you'll surely come across this creation. The national animal in Thailand is the elephant and this is why this tower takes the shape of that majestic mammal. This building structure is comprised of 3 towers (namely A, B, and C), and the creators have been smart enough to symbolise the eye and the tusk too in its structure. The building is reserved for a language school, condominium, and office premises.

Sathorn Unique Tower

This is an unfinished building in the city, and today it's more of a horror site. The Sathorn Unique Tower has been abandoned since 1997, and people say that's because of the economic crisis that prevailed at the time. The building structure contains 50 floors and ever since it was abandoned, it was home to many strange incidents including a suicide. So, today, it has got its other name 'Ghost Skyscraper' and that's more popular among the people than its real name.

5

Erawan Museum in Bangkok

This unique museum is located in Samut Prakan, a little away from Bangkok. It covers three special levels called the underworld, heaven, and human earth and they have represented specific features creatively using various methods. Once you take a walk around the park, you may also be able to understand some important myths about life and the world from the viewpoints of Buddhism and many other philosophies. It's popular among travellers because of its gigantic three-headed elephant statue done in copper and the weight of it amounts to 250 tons.
