Hit Port Phillip Bay for some fishing

For those who love fishing, Port Philip Bay is the place to be. The horse face-shaped bay is rich in marine life and is home to creatures like the Australian salmon, flathead, red snapper, squid and yellow-eye mullet. Not just fishing, but it is a great spot for scuba diving as well. It is also the perfect shores for a day at the beach with a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Set out on a walk down the pier in the evening and head over to the Esplanade Market as well.

Royal Melbourne Botanic Gardens

This is one of the most popular Melbourne city attractions and is ideal for the nature lovers and fitness enthusiasts as well. There is a trail that goes around the park where joggers often like to sprint across. The scenery includes lovely hills and other greenery that are sure to soothe the eyes. The path is also known as "The Tan". You can also take a walk or cycle down the trail. Locals often bring their pets here for a little stroll and some exercise.

St Kilda Beach

If you didn't already know, this is one of Melbourne's most popular beaches and if you don't mind a bit of a crowd on the beach, you should definitely visit. many locals and tourists come here to indulge in their favourite water sports like kite surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, windsurfing and skimboarding. It is yet another perfect beach for spending your day. Once the sun is down, make your way across the famous St Kilda Pier for some drinks and snacks at one of the many cafes and bars here. The beach is just 19 minutes away from Avani Melbourne Central Residences by car.

Capital City Trail

One of the best ways to explore the city if you are short of time would be to bike along the Capital City Trail. Starting from Flinders Station you can either go east or towards the west side of the trail. There is so much to see, so keep your eyes peeled for the main attractions which are the Melbourne Zoo, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Southbank and Marvel Stadium on your way.
