She Was Pretty centers on Hye Jin -- a girl who used to be pretty and live a comfortable life with her parents. Things get complicated for her when she lands a job under her childhood best friend, Sung Joon, who's now both handsome and rich. Not remembering her, she ends up hiding her true identity from the friend who treats her with disdain.
