This is Repackaged Yellow Peril™, to keep us Asians silent, and for everyone else to keep a blind eye and stereotyping Asians as 'privileged, and all rich'. I refuse for Asians to be used just as a useful pawn for any of the political spectrum and then get discarded as soon as they're not useful to them.

Tadataka Unno, a New York-based Japanese jazz pianist, was assaulted by eight youths at a subway station on 27 September. It’s now unclear whether the 40-year-old, who suffered serious injuries, including a broken collarbone, will be able to return to performing again.
According to the New York Police Department, the incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. at a subway station near the victim’s house. When Unno disembarked at the station after work, he was suddenly set upon and hit by a boy, who appeared to be a teenager, at the ticket gate.
Unno managed to escape outside the station but was chased and beaten by a group of about eight boys and girls. During the attack, he heard them saying the word “Chinese”.
The suspects have not been arrested.

Black people are often get incarcerated unfairly in America, however I personally believe that jail time (at the VERY least community service in Asian enclaves) is absolutely appropriate for the perpetrators of crime of this degree.

A tweet from the victim's mother: https://twitter.com/lheidli1/status/1261811944975224832
Transcript of the tweet: "This is my daughter Dakota. We are Indigenous. She was walking her dog last night in #Vancouver when a #racist guy heard her sneezing. He yelled at her, punched her and walked away.
He thought she was Asian and her sneezing was #COVID19.
@VPD attended. #racism #RacismIsAVirus"

"Please stay safe out there. I got punched in the face for sneezing and buddy thought I was Asian. Yelled racist slurs and told me to go back to Asia.
I have allergies on top of a throat infection. I just went to walk my dog."
Note: The victim is, not of Asian race, however I do think it's important to highlight the severity and the reach of the attacks as the victim is also prone to get hate crimed because of the rising anti-Asian sentiments.

On March 14, 2020, at 7:28 in Midland, Texas. Bawi Cung Nung and his son Robert were attacked with knife by Jose Gomez. Both the father and son were stabbed in the face. Robert was stabbed severely. The Hispanic attacker, Jose Gomez is only 19 years old. He has been taken into custody.
During this encounter, an employee of Sam’s Club was also injured while trying to take down the attacker. Why did he stab them? Although we cannot get an answer right now due to the condition of the victims. Since the COVID-19 originated from China, many believe this is an act of racism. However, some believe that this was an act of fighting for product they need. If there’s any updates on the case, we’ll keep you guys posted. (Update: it was confirm that the attack was racially motivated)
Admins Note: This is really getting out of hands now. I’m not even worry about the virus itself anymore, I’m more scared and concerned for the hate and racism toward Asians. I can’t stop thinking about our parents who have to go to work or go grocery shopping, and how they could potentially get verbally or physically attack. The fact that other minorities are the one doing is mind-boggling. I don’t feel safe anymore, and I’m sure many of you feel the same way. The ignorance and stupidity is just mind blowing. Time to start carrying weapons now for self-defense. If you see micro-aggression or any blatant racism toward chin people or Asians in general, you better intervene. Call them out of their racism, hatred, stupidity, and ignorance.
