It is natural with animals as they draw nearer to the end they stop eating or drinking. However, on the very opposite site, there are other cats who withdraw all the social attention. They just want to hide under a bed or keep being with themselves in a corner and avoid any attention or interaction from any of the humans or any other cat pets in the house. They want to live the end of the days in their own company and spend the remaining time in peace without doing much and wasting any kind of energy.
