Weaving the sides of a basket is fun, easy, and beautiful, but let me tell you, the bottom is extremely frustrating. It's a lot of work and comes out looking terrible, but at least it's hidden by the beautiful sides. I bought the basket-making kit at a Boy Scout store.

I love these little nesting baskets! They are perfect for organizing your office, counter tops, baby's room, or anywhere else you need an attractive storage solution. The fabric yarn used to make these baskets gives them a cozy charm and makes them more durable to use for storage than baskets made from regular yarn.
I tend to look at baskets and see vehicles for dust accumulation and junk collections. Know thyself, I think is the term for this. However, these very sharp dip-dyed baskets may change my mind. Beautiful - and as you are dipping them in standard latex paint, the sky is the limit for color.
Supplies: old grey t-shirt scraps I love a simple top with a twist. The strips were a bit time consuming because I sewed them together to create a more tailored look. I kept the front plain, but you can flip it to be worn either way... Make strips using similar jersey.
