One of the camp MVP's and surefire D1 prospect. Nakian catches the eye when he walks onto the field as he looks the part and plays the part as well. Whether he's filling the hole from his linebacker position or hitting the hole hard with the football en route to the end zone Nakian plays with force and should only become more dominant in his final 2 years of high school. He also showed off oustanding route running from the slot. Mr. Versatility.
As the most impressive frame at the Best Coast Showcase this fall Eric didn't dissappoint. The 6'7 310 pounder maintained focus during drills, appeared exceptionally coachable, and proved difficult to get by during one on one competition. Eric has had good success on the defensive line in high school but looks to have the total package to excel as an offensive tackle at the next level.
The camp WR MVP as just a junior. Jason is a weapon striking fear into the defense every time he touches the ball. Whether it's down the field, on a screen pass, or returning kickoffs he is almost guaranteed to make at least one man miss and feels like he has a chance to score every play.
Michael looked like the possible overall camp MVP as coaches were raving about him after the camp. Not only does Michael have a cannon attached to his right shoulder but he has the poise, pocket presence, and footwork to match. After dicing up defenses as a sophomore at Marin Catholic, the sky is the limit for this kid.
Elite athlete at the QB position who made some huge plays a sophomore starting on Varsity. True dual-threat, Carr can make you miss and run away from you in the open field. Look for him to explode this season for the Edison program.
Sam is a stud coming in at 6'4 215 with multiple years of growth left in high school. Sam showed a good nose for the football and tackling technique during his sophomore year at Miramonte High School but he looks like a prototypical college tight end and it's looking like he will be getting that opportunity this year. Keep an eye on this guy to see if he explodes on offense.
Adam is a beast at 6'4 250+ pounds but he doesn't rely purely on his size. At the Best Coast Showcase he was one of the players most diligently focusing on the detail and technique being delivered by the coaches. Born with the body, choosing to be coachable - good combination
Jared is a strong interior lineman who plays with exceptional force. Appears to take pride in winning his one on one matchup and has quick feet and pulls effectively on the offensive line. He will be one of the leaders on the Ugly Eagles defense this spring.
At 6'3 175 Kyle can be a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. Hes a deceptively quick effective route runner who uses his height to his full advantage as he consistently high points the football and wins jump balls.
Tatafu boasts great size and demonstrated respectable pass blocking during his sophmore year but excels in the nitty gritty. He's a sticky blocker in the run game and can shed blocks and make the first hit as an interior defensive lineman.
Jack has good size and quickness at the right tackle position. Can be difficult to get past as he pass protects and gets to the second level well while run blocking.
As a sophmore getting significant playing time at Clovis East High School, Devin showed the heart of a champion. He oozes instinct on the defensive side of the ball as he diagnoses offensive plays and has a nose for the football.
Good package of size and speed at the slot WR position and looks like an absolute threat in the passing game. Dion demonstrated time and time again that he isn't afraid to go over the middle and mix it up with linebackers or safeties in his pursuit of touchdowns and yards for his team. One of the bigger surprises on the day.
Maui is a quality overall football player who looks most comfortable at middle linebacker. He's not afraid of contact and has proven to be difficult to block with just one man. Good nose for the football in the run game and as a pass defender.
Preston is a block first tight end/lineman who has shown good potential as a pass blocker but looks like he enjoys sealing a defensive end or plowing through a linebacker as he leads is running back towards the end zone
Lengthy WR with sticky hands, Thompson has a huge ceiling as he has the perfect WR frame. He ran good routes in individual drills and made some tough grabs in 1 on 1's.
Good intensity, Good size. At 6'2 250 Maeko may project as an interior offensive linemen at the next level but he has the tools and drive to succeed anywhere on the line. With a couple more years left in his high school development remaining, Maeko looks capable of taking that next step.
Elite size and versatility for the Athlete out of Oregon. Reagan is a long skill player who can realistically contribute in multiple places on the field. Caught the ball well on the day and showed that he can run with anyone.
Jonathan figures to be a four year starter on varsity by the time it's all said and done and his tape shows why. He's an instinctive yet disciplined edge defender capable of producing highlights stopping runs and in the pass game. Fundamentally sound and deceptively explosive.
Dominic looks smooth on the football field. He's a versatile receiver who boasts a good combination of poise and quickness. Good size and hands at the WR position.
Jarret isn't afraid of contact and will run through the opposition regardless of size. Fearless competitor who puts it all on the line for his team. Competes above his measurables.
Wills looks to become one of the anchors on that Casa Roble offensive line over the next few seasons. Extremely coachable with good technique, high ceiling for this young lineman.
Beefy linebacker who plays sideline to sideline and through the whistle. Webb has quality strength and hips, making him an outstanding tackler. Even better in pads.
