With football being greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, stadium seats have remained empty for the majority of 2020. First the season was put on hold with uncertainty over if it could continue, then when it resumed matches had to be played behind closed doors.

To complement our seating we also make and install tiered flooring structures which are individually designed to fit each venue and take into account under-floor services.
All Evertaut seating products are available in a wide range of cover materials including fabric, vinyl and leather – all offered in a variety of colours and designs. Writing ledges are available in laminate, real wood veneer, and solid timber, with ABS, solid wood or polished edges. Metalwork can be powder coated in a colour of your choice (subject to quantity) with the addition of galvanising for additional outdoor protection as an option.

In an auditorium, fixed seating is permanently fixed and cannot be moved around. It is generally bolted to the floor or fixed to the risers of a tiered floor structure. Auditorium fixed seating is usually fitted in linked rows whereby adjoining seats will share an arm. In some executive and premium venues, seats will not be linked, and individual seats will have space between them.

In the hospital corridor pictured right, our Orion auditorium seating was adapted to create the Bradford Beam. Whilst you would normally find this style of seating in a theatre upholstered in red velvet fabric, here you can see how it has been re-purposed to create a totally different look, upholstered in anti-microbial vinyl in three different shades of blue and finished with polished wooden arms and end panels. This scheme won a prestigious design award.

If the building was previously used as a theatre or cinema you may be lucky that the original theatre chairs are still in situ. Although they will likely have seen better days, if they’re of a traditional design then it may be possible to revive them to give your venue the type of vintage style that never goes out of fashion. This is something that modern venue owners will pay to re-create so if you do have the original theatre chairs, you can use the heritage of the building to your advantage.
