Few things are as charming and as intimate as a nightly cruise out of Queenstown Bay. This evening cruise is a relatively regular occurrence that takes place during the winter months, taking you through the lake and towards Frankton Arm. On the boat, you can also enjoy some rare New Zealand delicacies or treat yourself to a flurry of international flavours. The best part of the cruise is seeing the starry night reflected across the surface of Lake Wapiti – it's a truly magical scene that will stick with you for years to come. Queenstown has quite a bit of nightlife going for it as well. Here you'll find a number of bars and karaoke joints that truly come alive once the sun sets. The town centre is generally the hub for this scene, and there's a number of dance clubs to choose from here too.
