The train tickets a relatively cheap but you need to make sure that reservations are made early on. Whichever side of the train you sit, you will get to see some of the most spectacular views in the world. The line has been dubbed "the most picturesque train ride in the world."
Tea plantations have long been a fixture in Sri Lanka ever since the British discovered that the highland conditions were perfect to grow the crop and export to Europe.
