While Zambia may not have quite the reputation as a safari destination as nearby South Africa, wildlife enthusiasts can indeed look forward to lots of exciting animal encounters. There are many national parks and reserves to explore when here including the popular Kafue National Park home to leopards, lions, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and diverse birdlife. Another popular spot is the South Luangwa National Park which not only offers game drives but walking safaris too. More wildlife sightings await the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to the famed Victoria Falls.
