Relief from plantar fasciitis is something that is sought after by people all over the world. Diabetic footwear is often referred to as sugar shoes or therapeutic shoes. They are specifically designed shoes, or shoe insoles, designed to minimize the risk of nerve damage in diabetics already suffering from pre-existing foot problems. If there is no nerve damage, surgery is usually not necessary, although you may experience soreness for several weeks after the injection. The severity of the pain will determine the treatment that is given.

Diabetic footwear can be called extra thickness, diabetic footwear, or specialized shoe inserts. They're specially made shoes, or specially designed shoe inserts, meant to help diabetics with existing foot problems reduce their risk of foot amputation due to diabetic foot ulcers. This is a relatively new field, and the study of it isn't straightforward at this point. The bad news is, while it is increasing in popularity, there's still no evidence that diabetic footwear reduces the chance of foot amputation.
