Listly by Simon Williams
I have always liked James Bond films and books for many years, and I have put together my favourite list of Bond Villains, the ones who are thought were very entertaining. Who is your favourite.

Blofeld over the years has been portrayed by Anthony Dawson in from Russia With Love, although we dont see his face, Donald Pleasance in You Only Live Twice. My favourite Blofeld, Telly Savalas in On Her Majestys Secret Service, Charles Gray in Diamonds Forever and most recently Christoph Waltz in Spectre, Cuckoo !!.
My favourite Blofeld quote from On Her Majestys Secret Service "No no no, Mr. Bond respectable baronets from the College of Heralds do "not" seduce female patients in clinics"
Mr Big was the Villain in Live and Let Die, being Roger Moore's first outing as James Bond. Mr Big was played by the very talented actor, Yaphet Kotto, who also appeared in another favourite film of mine Alien. My favourite Mr Big quote "Is this the stupid Mutha that tailed you uptown"
Dr No was the villain in this Bond film of the same name from 1962, played by Joseph Wiseman, who was born in Montreal. This Bond film is set in Jamaica and was Sean Connery's first outing as Bond. My favourite Dr No quote "East, West - just points of the compass, each as stupid as the other".
Francisco Scaramanga, the villain in The Man with The Golden Gun, is an assassin who charges 1 million dollars for his services. That great talented actor Christopher Lee plays him. Lee apparently was related to Ian Fleming. My favourite Scaramanga quote "He always did like that Mausoleum, put him in it"
Renard played by Robert Carlisle, who could be mistaken for being Blofeld by his appearance, is the villain and an international terrorist, who appears in The World is Enough with Pierce Brosnan as Bond. Renard is shot in the head by 009, but doesnt die immediately, the bullet in his head will kill him eventually, however, the bullet would render Renard virtually invulnerable as slowly tears through his Medula Oblongata numbing his senses of touch, smell, and pain in the process. This allowed him to push himself much further than ordinary human limits.
My favourite Renard quote "there's no point living if you can't feel alive?".
Auric Goldfinger played by Gert Frobe, was obsessed with Gold was voted in an IMDB poll as the most sinister James Bond villain, opposite Sean Connery's Bond. At the time Frobe's English was not particularly good, so Goldfinger's voice had to be dubbed.
My Favourite Goldfinger quote "No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die.!".
Jaws played by 7ft 2 actor Richard Kiel, first appeared in The Spy Who Loved Me and then again in the next Bond film, Moonraker. Jaws is unbreakable, buildings can fall on him, he gets thrown off trains, drives a car over a ravine, gets thrown over a hugh waterfall, and he still just can get up and walk away. My favourite Jaws quote, there isnt one, he is a villain of few words.
Max Zorin played by Christopher Walken appears in A View To A Kill, Roger Moore's last appearance as Bond. Zorin is extraordinarily intelligent, but also psychopathic, and was trained and long time associated with the KGB., He is the product of Dr Hans Glaub, a german scientist who conducted experiments on pregnant women, using masses of steroids. My Favourite Max Zorin quote "If you're the best they've got, they're more likely to try and cover up your embarrassing incompetence."
Franz Sanchez is the murderous drug baron in Licence To Kill, played by Robert Davi, with Timothy Dalton as Bond for the second and last time. Sanchez leaves Bond's CIA friend Felix Leiter and his new wife for dead and Bond wants revenge. My favourite Sanchez quote "SeƱor Bond, you got big cojones. You come here, to my place, without references, carrying a piece, throwing around a lot of money... but you should know something: nobody saw you come in, so nobody has to see you go out."
Raoul Silva, aka Tiago Rodriguez appears in Skyfall, played by Javier Bardem, with Daniel Craig as Bond. Silva is a former MI6 agent who has turned renegade and is hellbent on murderous revenge on M, his former MI6 boss. Bardem has a knack of playing villains, playing the even more murderous and chilling Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men. My favourite Silva quote "You see we are the last 2 rats"
