Dr. De Luca founded Chesapeake Oncology Hematology Associates over 25 years ago and currently sees patients at Tate Cancer Center and the Annapolis office.
He has been Chief of Oncology at Baltimore Washington Medical Center since 1995, and served as senior medical director at Hospice of the Chesapeake for 23 years.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians, Fellow, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Maryland & D.C. Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Dr. Arun Bhandari is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology. He currently sees patients at Annapolis Cancer Center and Kent Island Center.

Dr. Bhandari is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Hematology (ASH). He is board certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology. He has expertise in treating various types of cancers including head and neck cancer, brain cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancer ( colon, pancreas, liver, gastric, esophageal etc.), genitourinary cancers ( bladder, kidney, prostate, testicular etc.), gynecological cancers (cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal etc.), skin cancer including melanoma, Lymphoma, multiple myeloma, Leukemia and various other blood disorders.

Dr. Nimmagadda is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. Her clinical interests are breast cancer and lung cancer.

Dr. Gayatri Nimmagadda received her medical degree from Guntur Medical College Nagarjuna University and completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital Chicago and residency in Internal Medicine at Harbor Hospital Center.

She joined COHA in 1994 and served on the Leadership Committee at American Cancer Society, Howard County Chapter and Medical Executive Committee at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She is a member of the American College Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Yudhishtra Markan specializes in both Hematology and Medical Oncology. He currently sees patients at the Tate Cancer Center in our Glen Burnie office.

He received his medical degree from Government Medical College, Punjab University, India, and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Prince George’s Hospital Center, and his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University in Washington DC.

Dr. Patel received his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his internship in internal medicine at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and his residency in radiation oncology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. During his residency, he received training in proton therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic ablative body radiation (SABR), and brachytherapy.

Dr. Patel sees and treats patients at the Tate Cancer Center in Glen Burnie, and the Maryland Proton Treatment Center in Baltimore, providing his patients with access to one of the most advanced technologies used to kill cancer.

Dr. Melissa Vyfhuis received both her graduate (Ph.D.) and medical degree (MD) from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She went on to complete her internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

During her residency, she received training in proton therapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and brachytherapy. During residency, Dr. Vyfhuis has received various grants and awards pertaining to her clinical research.
