The AceBikes TyreFix Basic (this version does not come with ratchet straps) offers the maximum level of security for your precious cargo. The TyreFix secures the bike without compressing the shocks because it secures the tires only. From an engineering perspective, this increases the damping effect by using the motorcycle's shocks in addition to the hauling vehicle's shocks thus reducing dynamic stress on the overall structure (the MotoTote, hitch, chassis, etc.).

While transporting your motorcycle on the Moto-Tote wheel tie is recommended to tie the rear wheel into the rail to minimize "road bounce". This 3' strap is made with polypropylene webbing with a spring loaded buckle.
