When a client is confronted with the dangers of a lawsuit or similar dispute, the first question that should be asked is, “what is my lawyer’s experience in the courtroom?” A litigation lawyer who does not have extensive experience trying lawsuits cannot effectively evaluate the case, cannot assess the risks and cannot make effective and perceptive recommendations to the client, from the beginning of the dispute, through mediation and negotiations and through the trial of the matter.
