To start things off, be sure to grab all the swimming gear you need! After all, you'll almost certainly be spending a great deal of time in the water. It's a good idea to pack at least two pairs of swimsuits each. This way, you can leave one out to dry while wearing the other. Of course, you can always pack a few extra pairs too just to be safe.
