A young Trainee plops his butt down with a sigh, looks at me and asks, "What do I pack to head to camp?" Huh. Why didn't I think of that?! So, I sent him off with ideas of how to sort his gear and a promise I would have a list for him by the next afternoon.
Wow, that really did get your attention! I still think the titles are the hardest thing to come up with creatively. I've always thought of myself as more of a overseer, I am not the creative one, but I can work. I can learn and I can work hard.
The biggie, when packing for your Alaska Adventure, your Wilderness Horseback Trip, is remembering it is Alaska. (seriously, no sarcasm) The weather can be hot, cold, wet and windy. The most important gear I pack, no matter what time of the year it is, is the gear that will keep me warm and dry.
What about all my other friends? What about the women, around the world, who want to be outdoors and to have grand Adventures? Luckily, I have friends from all over the world, who can help me with what you may want to know!

Welcome to Pioneer Outfitters Survival & Guide Training, A professional training course designed to train the skills and help you learn to apply those skills and hone the ones you arrive with.
