The Effluent Treatment Plant in Delhi is based on the aerobic respiration method and it has mainly three stages, secondary, primary, and tertiary treatment. The effluent water is passed via processes like chemical dosing, settling, and aeration. The final treatment is of filtration cum absorption that takes place by filters. In the end, the processed water goes for advanced treatment and gets usable water that can be used for irrigation and other purposes.
