Surrounded by the sparkling waters of the Andaman Sea is an island called Phuket, one of Thailand's most famous islands. Despite its size, the island is packed with things to do and see which attracts millions of tourists each year. Here are a few fun things you can do in Phuket!

Spend time in an upside-down world

Baan Teelanka is a must-visit place when you're down in Phuket. It is an upside-down house that is all the rage on the island. It is a place that you can literally pose like spiderman! This place also offers Wi-Fi, which lets you post those Instaworthy pics on the spot. While you're there, try winding out of "A-Maze-in-Phuket," a maze that's in the backyard of the upside-down house. You can also have fun at the "Chamber of Secrets," where you can have an enthralling experience with your team members in two escape rooms while looking for clues to solve mind-boggling puzzles.

Get your mind blown at Phuket's 3D Museum

The first-ever Trickeye 3D Museum in the South of Thailand is located right in Phuket Town. It's where you can let your thoughts run crazy with an array of 3D paintings available in mindblowing arrangements, not to mention the fantastic photo opportunities that come with it. The museum features over a hundred paintings and sculptures that deceive your eye and create other-worldly scenarios that would completely enthrall you. Lean down from a precipice, run with the bulls, save yourself from a gigantic crocodile while you're at this mesmerising world of 3D artistry.

Have fun with water - at Splash Jungle Water Park!

Where there's water, there's always fun! Take a step further and make your vacation in Phuket, extra fun by spending a day at the Splash Jungle Water Park. With some of the coolest water-based activities in the area, accompanied by delicious drinks and delightful finger food, this place is guaranteed to keep you engaged for an entire day. Splashing in water the whole day is rather an excellent way of beating the heat of Phuket. It's the ideal location to spend the day which lies within a 30-minute driving distance from properties such as Layan Residences by Anantara, in which you can find Phuket real estate for sale.

Explore Khao Phra Thaeo National Park

The northern portion of Phuket boasts of a virgin rainforest that calls out to the nature lovers. Those who are up for a game can trek through the jungle while listening to the whispers of age-old trees and skipping over the fallen logs and branches. Natural havens for a multitude of insect species, the Khao Phra Thaeo should be hiked with suitable clothing and sufficient bug repellent at hand. You can start your trek near the Ton Sai waterfall and go up to the enchanting Bang Pae Waterfall where you can have a soothing time bathing in its cool waters.

Let airplanes fly over you!

There's a beach that adorns the Northwestern shoreline of Phuket where the airplanes seem to fly right over your heads! Mai-Khao, or rather, the Airport Beach is where you can have this marvellous experience due to its proximity to the Phuket International Airport. The seven-mile strip of beach is not overly crowded and is often overshadowed by the frequent flights that seem to swish past your head. Make sure to snap that gratifying click of you posing with an airplane passing over your head.
