If you’re sweltering at home with no place to escape the heat, take a shower. An ice cold shower will take the heat off your skin nicely and cool you down for the day. After you get out, refrain from drying off all the way; the excess water droplets will act like sweat and take heat away from your body when they evaporate.
Pour yourself a nice big glass of ice water. Ice water will cool your core temperature down quickly and help you feel cooler all over. Keep cold water with you throughout the summer days to keep you hydrated and prevent you from overheating.
