Best Musical Venues from Around the World – For the crazy concert-goers

When it comes to music, listening to your favourite tunes through your headset and experiencing you're the beat run through your body for real in a sea of people can't be compared! You'd know if you've been to a concert before. The backdrop too is part of your visual experience in this case.

1

Théâtre Antique d'Orange

Believe it or not, this stadium is as old as time! In the sense it was built in the first century an exists to date, not to mention active! Théâtre Antique d'Orange in France is sure to have seen its fair share of music in the classic genre but continues to see even more events. If its mere age doesn't awe you, then the gigantic stage backdrop measuring 338ft x 121ft is sure to leave you stunned and feeling puny! Orchestral performances are still held here along with the yearly festival, Les Chorégies d'Orange. This festival is famed the world over and fills about 9000 seats.

2

National Centre for the Performing Arts

Next, we move to the east, to Beijing, China, the NCPA as it is called for short looks like a massive floating egg. Although this structure may appear to be afloat, the building is actually built on a man-made lake and extends to an underwater section too with an underwater entrance. Modern architecture is truly fascinating, isn't it? Made of titanium and glass, the NCPA was built in this shape and colour to complement the red walls of the Forbidden City and strangely enough, it does!

3

Walt Disney Concert Hall

Moving back to the west, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA is one of the most interesting venues for concerts. The structure takes on a bizarre shape that nonetheless looks amazing! It is said to symbolize music and motion. The stainless-steel exterior gives it a futuristic look as well. Taking the sounds into consideration, Frank Gehry's work with Yasihisa Toyota proves to be simply awesome!

4

The Royal Albert Hall

Jumping right into history once again, The Royal Albert Hall was set up in the year 1871 by Queen Victoria for her royal consort, Prince Albert! This building was one of the biggest halls in the whole world at the time. It was said to have been built with 6 million red bricks and 80,000 blocks of terracotta. The large dome at the top was built from wrought iron. The architecture, for which inspiration came from Northern Italy is certainly fit for royalty.

5

Red Rocks

The name of this venue is Red Rocks simply for the fact there the rocks really are red like some meteorite fell out from mars! It is an open-air stadium in Morrisons and is acoustically flawless! Amazing views are yet another feature to marvel at in this stadium, not to mention, the night sky is also a hit during late-night concerts.
