While enjoying all luxury at hotels the likes of Saman Villas located by the beach, why will you miss enjoying the beauty of the shores when it's so near? The beaches you find in Bentota are serene and this is why you should choose Bentota for a leisure holiday to be spent in complete tranquillity. You can swim in the waves and also engage in a number of water sports such as jet-skiing, windsurfing, banana boat rides and even canyoning.

It's an ancient temple from the 1700s and has been a pioneer centre in terms of Buddhist education in Sri Lanka. There is a giant Buddha Statue established in this premises and in addition to that, there are also some great frescoes and sculptures that belong to the 15th – 19th century to be explored.
