They say Macau is the Vegas of Asia, but that doesn't mean that this destination is bad for kids. Macau is kid-friendly with many attractions especially reserved for the small ones. Since Macau is just a one-hour ferry ride away from Hong Kong, why not plan your next family vacation in Macau?

DreamWorks Experience

No matter where you are from, DreamWorks movies are loved by kids all over the world. So what if you told them they could meet some of those characters in person? It is sure to be their dream come true. So, why not give them this privilege when you visit Macau? They can meet Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and even characters from the Madagascar movie! Let the kids enjoy and even have a meal together as well. There are daily performances of these characters from 12 noon to 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm to 7 in the evening.

The Gondola Ride

The House of Dancing Water

It's a show, and your kids are going to love this whole experience. Located at the City of Dreams, this water-based stage production host shows that run for around 90 minutes. Once you take your kids to this show during your holiday spent at hotels the likes of Hotel Okura Macau, they will surely be delighted to see the mind-blowing performances of gymnasts, circus artists, dancers, motorcyclists, and various other actors. They will also be amazed by how a pool filled with water (that even facilitates deep diving) can transform into a 100% dry floor in a blink of an eye here.

The indoor playgrounds

There are a number of indoor playgrounds for kids in Macau. The Venetian Macao, on its 5th floor has an interactive kids' zone called 'Qube' that has all the climbing structures, slides, and net bridges for playful kids. They have also reserved a zone for computer games and pool tables so that, no one misses any kind of fun here. The City of Dreams also has another space reserved for kids, and they call it the 'Kid's City'. They have a separate space for toddlers as well.

The beach

On the Coloane Island, lies a beach called 'Hac Sa' that is especially kid-friendly. Across from the beach, there is a separate space reserved for basketball courts, swimming pools, soccer courts, tennis courts, and ping-pong tables too. If kids get hungry after playing hard, they can simply go to the popular Fernando's Restaurant that's located close by.
