If you don't have a lot of time to spend in Brisbane but are a foodie and love to try the various cuisines that a country or region is famous for, when you visit, then we have a quick list for you. Travelling to a new destination isn't complete until you taste the local food. Here's some to try.

Gnocchi with Pork and Fennel Sausage

One of the best-known dishes in Brisbane is its gnocchi with pork and fennel sausage. The 1889 Enoteca is the place to try this iconic dish as the restaurant maintains that this has been its bestseller for seven years consecutively. It is a perfect dish to try in the Australian winter. The Roman-style trattoria handmakes the gnocchi and serve it folded with Parmesan cheese and truffle. The pork is the most perfect addition thanks to the hint of spice that comes from the fennel.
