Wilsons Promontory National Park is located on the southernmost part of mainland Australia. It is part of the peninsula that was once connected with the island of Tasmania. There is so much indigenous history in Prom as it is called by locals which would be very educational and relevant even if you are just visiting. Apart from the cultural lessons, you can also see a lot of pristine rainforests, beaches and an abundance of wildlife. It is the perfect place to spend maybe a weekend camping and let yourself get lost in nature's cradle. You can visit Five Mile Beach, Skull Rocks and go hiking, bird spotting or swimming in secluded beaches.
