A perennial favourite when it comes to family attractions in Singapore, Sentosa Island is an entire island offering all the fun and entertainment you can imagine! Only around 15 minutes from the city centre, it can be reached by way of a cable car ride which adds to the adventure. One of the key allures here is undoubtedly Universal Studios where you will find plenty of theme park thrills. An iconic symbol of Singapore often featured on souvenirs, the mythical Merlion can be visited too! You will find the half-lion, half-fish statue at Merlion Park overlooking Marina Bay which is a great place to visit day or night. The 8.6-metre tall statue spouts water from its mouth and you will even find a smaller version of it here, the two-metre tall “Merlion cub”. Those staying at a hotel near Merlion Park can easily head here and take that quintessential selfie with the Merlion; from the park, you can also catch bumboat river cruises along the Singapore River.
A site that when viewed from afar looks like something out of a sci-fi movie, the futuristic Gardens by the Bay features a fascinating combination of natural beauty and modern innovation. One of the best things to do in Singapore is to explore the various sections here with flora from around the world, each offering something different to discover. A 15-minute walk from PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, the Gardens by the Bay is also home to the awe-inspiring Supertrees; some of these structures tower to heights of 50 metres providing stunning views from an elevated walkway.
When it comes to shopping in Singapore, there’s none place finer than Orchard Road. An area that once featured fruit orchards, today this lively locale has plenty of malls and boutiques to keep shopaholics and fashionistas well-occupied. Those visiting during the annual Great Singapore Sale (generally June to July) can look forward to some amazing discounts too. From shopping for designer brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior and Gucci at ION Orchard to finding bargains on mobile phones and electronics at Lucky Plaza, Orchard Road cater to all shoppers.

Some of the most happening nightlife in Singapore can be found in this charming riverfront area that comes alive at night. The warehouses at this historical district are today home to a range of pubs, cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs offering night-time fun that can be as laid-back or lively as you want.
