Explore Botanical Gardens

Towards the Northeast corner of Adelaide is its lush garden galore, which has taken about 50 hectares of land surface to thrive as a flourishing space of flora. It was officially opened to the general public in 1857. Since then, it has been a massive attraction for tourists from near and far. Conveniently located closer to properties such as Avani Adelaide Residences, it is an excellent location to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy some time outdoors, revelling in nature. Here, you will come across everything from stunningly beautiful rose gardens to a wetland that offers a sustainable water supply to the property through the year.

Say Hello to Animals

The second oldest zoo in the country, the Adelaide Zoo has welcomed tourists from all walks of life since its opening in 1883. While you're enjoying a stress-free vacation at one of the many Adelaide hotels in the area, most of which are situated adjacent to this place where over 3000 animals are housed, head over to experience an uninterrupted evening of enjoyment. Make sure that you don't forget to take some snaps of the gigantic Sumatran tigers, lazy orangutans, and especially the giant panda exhibit that feature the fluffy bears native to China.

Visit Chinatown

Located between Grote and Gouger streets of Adelaide is the country's Chinatown. You can look forward to tasting authentic Chinese food and hunting for rare trinkets at the many quaint shops you can see here. The main street is guarded by Chinese guardian lions that stand at either end. It's a fantastic place to be- especially during the Chinese New Year celebrations!
