When it comes to the temples in Myanmar, the Shwedagon Pagoda is considered the most significant one out of all. It’s a huge temple, and no matter at which hotel in Yangon you decide to spend your holiday, you will see this temple from there. So, why not visit it? The main pagoda here is about 325 feet tall, and they believe the pagoda must have been built more than 2600 years ago. They also believe that this temple houses 4 sacred relics of the Lord Buddha and this is the same reason why they call it the most sacred place in Myanmar as well.
