The Best Beaches in Quy Nhon – Waves, winds, and wonders

They say that you find the best-untouched beaches in the seaside city of Quy Nhon and they are absolutely correct. Although the nearby cities such as Nha Trang and Hoi An are highly tourism-oriented, you don't see that in Quy Nhon and it's the same with its beaches too.

1

Bai Xep Beach

While enjoying all luxury at beachfront resorts the likes of Anantara Quy Nhon Villas, don't miss out on gaining the experience of a small, yet bustling fishing village. It will not be more than 15km from where you are in Quy Nhon, and even you hire a taxi for this journey, it won't cost too much. What you'll love the most about this beach is the golden bay bordered by jagged rocks at either end. The water is crystal clear and thanks to the Vietnamese boats scattered across the beach, it is a gorgeous sight indeed.

2

Quy Hoa Beach

Quy Hoa Beach is a sheltered beach as it has many trees along its side. While staying at your Quy Nhon hotel, if you are thinking of something to do on a weekday and running out of ideas, then here is a brilliant idea for you! Just visit this beach and it will be all yours on weekdays as there'll be less of a crowd. If you think to travel to the small villages nearby, that too is a great idea as you will then get to see the well-known Quy Hoa Leprosy Hospital built in 1929.

3

Queen Beach

This beach has been named as such in remembrance of the wife of the last Vietnamese Emperor as this beach used to be her favourite resting place when she was alive. Locals call this beach 'Bai Trung' and in their language, Bai Trung means 'stone egg beach' which indicates the fact there are large round rocks scattered on this beach. Note that this is not a swimming beach, but you can always relax while soaking in the coastal views.

4

Eo Gio

Eo Gio is not about white sandy beaches on which you can chill and relax. This one is for adventure lovers. The coastline is rocky and with them, you can explore the hills and caves as well. Again, you are not expected to swim at this beach, but you can always check out the rock pools that help the locals collect seafood on a daily basis.

5

Ky Co

Among the most spectacular beaches in Quy Nhon, this beach takes a very important place. The reasons are the crystal clear water you find, the golden sand, and the steep rocky cliffs around. Although this beach was visited just by local communities earlier, it is quickly gaining popularity among international visitors as a much pristine beach. You can swim here, and enjoy the space as much as you wish. However, during the winter season, the waves are usually so strong and thus, boats do not operate here, making it a little difficult to access the beach.
