RBI Grade B Eligibility – Age Relaxation
Coming to the age qualification. Yes, you heard it right!! You can’t give the exam if you are super smart and cleared your college at the age of 18.
You can’t even give this exam if you had responsibilities when you were in your 20’s and now want to be a Grade B officer in your 30’s but we have a few exceptions.
You can still give the exam. Here is the age eligibility:
You should be between 21 and 30 years.
The upper age limit is 32 if you have M.Phil. and 34 if you have Ph.D.
Not only this, but You are also given a relaxation equal to the number of years of experience as an officer in Commercial Bank/ Financial Institution/RBI in the Public Sector.

RBI releases three separate vacancies. These are the name of the vacancies:
RBI Grade B (DR) General
RBI Grade B (DR) DEPR
RBI Grade B (DR) DSIM

RBI Grade B Apply Online – Steps to Apply for RBI Grade B Exam
Are you ready to start applying for the exam?
Let’s talk about the steps to apply for the exam. I have divided the whole process into 10 steps. It will make it super easy.
Step 1: Go to the official website of RBI – rbi.org.in.
Step 2: You have to click on the link called “Recruitment for the post of Officers in Gr. B (DR) General/DEPR/DSIM”
Step 3: You will be able to see separate links for both the posts published by RBI. Click on the one you are eligible for.
Step 4: Click on the new registration link and fill up all your details like Name, Email ID, etc.
Step 5: You will get a registration number and password. It will automatically get generated and you have to keep it safe.
It’s a government website and you don’t want to go through the hassle of regenerating the password in the middle of your preparation.
The eligible age bracket ranges from the age of 21 to 30 years.
The upper age limit is 32 if you have M.Phil. and 34 if you have a PhD
Not only this but You are also given a relaxation equal to the number of years of experience as an officer in Commercial Bank/ Financial Institution/RBI in the Public Sector with an upper cap of 3 years.
