Why You Should Visit Hua Hin - Why Hua Hin Should be on Every Traveller's Bucket List

Regarded as one of Thailand's best loved beach resort towns, Hua Hin is a dream destination for beach lovers. Here are some of the reasons why every traveller should visit the area.

1

The Beaches

Hua Hin's beaches are not only some of the finest beaches in Thailand but also the most peaceful. Unlike the congested and crowded beaches of seaside resort hubs the likes of Pattaya, Hua Hin offers travellers a respite from busy seaside landscapes and provides a more tranquil experience by the ocean. As a location that's visited by local day trippers rather than hordes of tourists, the lack of a touristy atmosphere works in Hua Hin's favour. Those who are weary of beaches crowded with resorts, restaurants and beachfront vendors will welcome the quiet serenity of this seaside hamlet.

2

The Weather

Tourists heading to Hua Hin will only need to pack tank tops and shorts as the sunny weather conditions prevail for most of the year in this spectacular beach paradise. The period from December to April is the best time to visit the area as the dry spell is in full swing while the period from June to August are just as sunny. Avoid travelling to Hua Hin during the monsoon month of May and then once again from September to November unless one does not intend to take part in water sports activities or outdoor excursions.

3

The Resorts

The sheer variety of luxury resorts and breathtaking accommodation providers is another reason every traveller should head to Hua Hin at least once. Whether it's the Avani+ Hua Hin Resort or any other resort in Hua Hin, the picturesque setting and on-site amenities make Hua Hin a more affordable paradise for many. The location of most resorts also afford easy access to some of the area's top attractions and activity bases so visitors can experience more during a holiday in Hua Hin without travelling too far.

4

The Night Bazaars

Occupying pride of place in the heart of Hua Hin, the night market is another reason why Hua Hin is a beach lover's dream come true. Not only is the venue a bargain haven for souvenir hunters and shopaholics but this bustling thoroughfare down Petchkasem Road is also a food hub like no other. Open from 6pm to 11pm, the night market which runs parallel to the railway line is accessible day of the week although the weekend period is the busiest time of the week. The Cicada Night Market is a weekend market where live music, fire and dance performances as well as food stalls occupy a vast expanse.

5

The Water Parks

Those who love water parks and to splash around in general will find Hua Hin's water parks more than fits the bill when it comes to all day recreational highlights. The Vana Nava Water Park and the Black Mountain Water Park are equally popular and offer slides and exciting rides for the whole family. The joy of spending a day at either one of these splash centres is enough reason to opt for a holiday in Hua Hin.
