As many cities across the world prepare to reopen businesses, it is more important than ever to take every precaution possible to prevent getting or spreading Coronavirus. Doctors still highly encourage everyone to continue practicing social distancing. But you may now need to report back to work at the office, make a quick run to the store, or finally get that haircut. Here are the top 5 ways and items to help you stay protected while out. Please note, none of the items mentioned will treat Coronavirus symptoms.
Lysol comes in many shapes and sizes. From wipes, to all-purpose home cleaner, Lysol has got all your home cleaning and disinfectant needs covered. While it is very important to clean and disinfect your home regularly to prevent cold virus and germs and droplets from lingering, it is even more important to disinfect on-the-go. Lysol-to-go spray is practical and convenient. One can stick in their purse or large pocket and use it to spray door handles before entering a store, shopping cart handles, or self-checkout kiosks.
Unless you are working in a Medical setting — an N95 mask or N95 respirator would be needed — a 3-ply Disposable Face Mask is currently the best mask to prevent you from airborne germs. While doctors say a mask cannot protect you 100%, you can reduce your changes of getting COVID-19 by wearing the mask while at the grocery store or in another public place. Sadly, most stores have been out of stock of disposable masks and online vendors have shipping delays due to high demands. Cloth masks are a good alternative. When sewing and picking out your mask, be sure to select fabric that is breathable and also not too thin. If you can easily shine a light through the fabric, it's too thin.
