Free things to do in Bali – Premium experiences free of charge!

Bali is undoubtably one of the most stunning and frequently visited place in the world, with its relatively cheap cost of living, water sports, stunning natural landscapes and a thriving community of travellers. However, not everything there is to do in Bali requires a large budget!

1

Love Anchor Canggu

This trendy location is a vibrant hotspot for some of the most stunning sunsets and experiences that can be had at absolutely zero cost! It is possible to find an array of things to do here, from window shopping the trendy island fashion, ornaments and other trinkets. If you are looking to grab that perfect photo for your social media platforms you will find plenty of artistic installations that will more than meet the need. The Love Anchor signage is an extremely popular spot that many flocks to in order to grab their next "Insta-Worthy" photo! If you are with a group of friends, this may slowly evolve into a night out to remember for everyone involved given the large amount of activities available to engage in. For those staying at the nearby Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort this location is a short 30-minute car ride!

The stunning Gateway to Heaven at Mount Lempuyang

Another recognizable location in Bali, this temple is one of the most respect and also one of the most visited. With tourist flocking and lining up for hours at the break of dawn simply to grab a photo and enjoy the panoramic view that is offered up from atop the mountain that holds this temple. The gateway serves as the border between the temple and the outside, while serving a stunning look of Mount Agung and the beautiful forest that surround the temple. Many a Seminyak beach resort may arrange transport to this temple so be sure to ask the receptionist for more information!

Get your free tans!

It goes without saying that there plenty of beaches that are easily accessible to visitors when they are in Bali, so what better way to enjoy their time than to simply set up camp at their favourite beach, pull out the SPF50 and sunglasses to lounge in the sun and work on their tan! Many people would simply consider this to be the epitome of rest and relaxation with the sounds of their music over the crashing waves as they devour the book that had been gathering dust for the past year.

Take a jaunt through the Campuhan Ridge

If you ever want to take a reprieve from the crowd on the coastal areas and enter into a private piece of solitude, there are many spaces that can be retreated into. For example, Bali is well known for its' mountainous vistas that fill in the spaces of the country that draw in many hiking enthusiasts. The Campuhan Ridge is a brilliant option located on the opposite side of Bali that is lush and verdant, with soothing green rolling hills lining the small path carved for travellers to follow. It is certainly one of the most refreshing experiences that can be had, when there is an overload from the sometimes-frenetic activity on the coastal regions of Bali!
