The house has been transformed into a museum and art centre that is dedicated to showcasing the proud Thai-silk culture of the country through a vivacious collection of Thompson's Asian antiques and Thai silk. This establishment is most certainly an architectural marvel and deserves to make the top of your to-do list of things in Siam!

The Pathum Wanaram Temple was initially built by King Rama IV in the year 1857 as a place of worship that would be located close to his Sa Pathum Palace.
