This couple’s unique love story is what fairytales are made up of. Wanderlust at heart, Aditya finished his studies at St. Columba’s in Delhi before moving to Sydney for his Pilot training. Anupriya on the other hand is a small town Dehradun girl and comes from an army family. She had been at Jet Airways for almost ten years as a stewardess when the most fortunate thing happened. Aditya joined Jet Airways as a Pilot and that’s when serendipitously they met and fell in love. It was one beautiful journey falling in love with a co-worker, realising that every day it was becoming stronger, they said. Aditya switched to Etihad airways and he knew he had to seal the deal with  Anupriya. This cute, bubble girl fell in love with the sophisticated man who loves travelling, fast cars and his whiskeys. It’s been a full year and their love is only flying high! After completing one year of their wonderful marriage, they decided to go to Abu Dhabi and capture some uber cool moments together. “They say you never really know when your soulmate enters your life. They just appear out of the blue, taking us off guard and changing our lives forever. One fine day, while I was spending my usual time on Facebook, I came across his profile and that’s the start of our beautiful story. He lived in Agra, while I am from Delhi. We met a year ago and only virtually first, but nothing could keep us apart. We had to find a way to be together somehow. After a few months, we were engaged to be married and that’s when the wedding of our dreams was planned.” Both Kashish & Richa believe in the motto “Less is more” and that was the mantra they followed through the whole planning process. They wanted a small affair in the midst of the hills and wanted to celebrate with just a few selected family members and close friends. They were sure that they only wanted to spend on the right things and make it as inexpensive as possible. The wedding took place at the picturesque Suryavilas, Luxury Resort & Spa in Solan, Himachal Pradesh on the 11th of November, 2016. The guest list didn’t exceed 100 in number and everyone stayed at the resort itself. From elegant decor done by Pretty Much Event Decor and beautiful backgrounds at this scenic location, the wedding turned out to be one of the most sublime events. We’ve known each other since we were kids as family friends. But somehow, we hadn’t met for a couple of years until 2014. By now, both of us had grown up. The only times we would meet is at the extended family get togethers. Whenever we would meet, there was some form of a powerful connection. We would sit in the corner and talk about everything under the sun. Those were times he and I both looked forward to.   In the summer of 2016, we both were going to New York for different reasons but happened to be on the same flight. During this visit, we started spending more time with each other. This is when he & I both realized that it’s not just the company we were looking for but it was more. I fell in love with him in a New York Minute. Literally, It happened so suddenly, in the middle of a chaotic store, while he was standing there waiting in a never ending queue to buy something that I wanted. I stood there and knew he was the one and I just couldn’t stop smiling! What followed was a beautiful journey through New York. Two romantics, strolling through the city, discovering the magic of this place. Obviously, New York became extra special for us and we had to do the pre-wedding photo shoot here. We chose the quintessential spots. From the Rockefeller center to Brooklyn bridge, the Empire State building and the Central Park. We walked around the whole day trying to get these beautiful shots. We were totally glad we did. There isn’t a better way to create memories then capturing them in photographs that mean so much. We wanted the day and night both, since it was every day and night that we spent together that brought us closer. Towards the end of it, I was so cold I looked like Rudolph and had to be hauled to the nearest Pizza place. It was worth it, the pictures came out exactly as I had imagined! Devakshi and Shiva’s romance started like a true Bollywood movie. Guy falls in love with the girl at the first sight. Girl is not interested in starting something which they cannot finish but guy spares no effort in pursuing the girl of his dreams and manages to woo her.
Their first encounter was in at a formal office meeting. The minute Shiva saw Devakshi, he knew she was the one. It took a few more conversations and meetings to finally ask Devakshi to go out on a date.
As Devakshi is older than him, he wasn’t sure if she was going to agree but Shiva didn’t hesitate in asking her out, and to his surprise she said yes! After all that there was no looking back.
It was a special kind of a proposal where he inserted the ring inside a Harry Potter book by carving out some space. She had to say yes!

Archana Manchala, a fashion designer from Hyderabad came as a bride-to-be on NDTV Goodtimes Show, Band Baaja Bride. She shared her unique love story with the world and we’re finally getting a glimpse of this joyous occasion. This was Archana’s second marriage and she has a ten year old son named Etash. She met Paul who happens to be a German Diplomat at a Gala night. They started talking on emails that finally led to calls and now they are here, as husband and wife. Everyone was a bit anxious, since she was dating after six years of leading a single parent life but her son and Paul bonded flawlessly and that made her decision easy. She was sure that only if her son agreed, would she get married and of course, he did! Aashna Singh, the demiurgic founder and director of Aash Studio, recently had her whimsical engagement ceremony at the stately and commodious The Clearing House, in Ballard Estate, Mumbai.  The wedding planner for Aash Studio, who always makes sure that the other couple gets the most dreamiest decor at their wedding, of course had to plan something offbeat for her own engagement. She’s known to envision and organising fascinating arrangements while incorporating the couple’s story with interesting themes at the weddings.  Her long time beau Sheekher proposed to her recently and she planned a ceremony that had all the personal touches which included all things dear to the couple.   For her own ceremony the lit teddy bear was the centrepiece of the evening as the charm meant a lot to Aashna, which also marked the proposal. The 30 KG gold metal teddy bear was the highlight of the entire night. Another charm that also represents their love for travel is the bracelet he gifted her once. The theme was titled “Love is in the air” and the decor quite literally portrayed it. Everything was toned down but the prominent elements were added where needed. The focus was totally on Aashna and her blends of fun and prominent things in decor like the metal letters that was a personal hashtag of the couple #AASHSHEE, which was places at the DJ console. The mixture of decor and entertainment and the confetti bags and bubbles reminded us of our childhood fantasies. The guests were taken on the nostalgia ride with the disposable cameras, something to enjoy as well as to seize the special memories of the night. The molecular bar was another hit at the party that served the customised couple’s favorite drinks and shots ranging from jaëger bubbles to vodka caviars. Every now and then a wedding comes along with a deep love story in the most understated way, those are our favourite kind of weddings and Karan and Annie’s wedding is no different. Weddings from Punjab always seems to have the exhilaration of Oohs and Aahs, but this wedding won our hearts with its simplicity. This couple’s unique love story will surely make you fall in love with them. Karan is a handsome loquacious guy, and Annie is an adorable charming girl.
