PRICKLY PEAR OIL is a natural oil extracted from seeds of fruit Opuntia ficus Indica cactus. This cactus grows up to 2 meters high and needs little water. They thrive in the hot and dry regions — such as Morocco. They produce beautiful bright yellow and pinkish flowers during the spring, then fruit in late summer, prickly pear oil contains the highest amount of vitamin E of any other beauty oil on the market it is extremely rich in essential fatty acids including omega 6 and 9, antioxidants and vitamin K.
Due to its restorative properties, PRICKLY PEAR OIL can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face. The Oleic Acid in this carrier oil also combats free radical damage, reducing the appearance of dark spots that can occur over time. PRICKLY PEAR OIL also is an excellent treatment for dry or lackluster hair, a few drops of prickly pear oil goes a long way. As far as incorporating it into your hair care regime goes, you can add a few drops of pure organic prickly pear oil to your existing conditioner.
