BS4 Bikes Discounts and Offers in India

The BS6 emission norms are coming into force from 1st April 2020 in India. The sale and purchase of BS4 bikes would cease once the deadline ends. The new norms are forcing the major motorcycle manufacturers in the Indian market to offer heavy discounts on BS4 models in order to clear their existing stock. The 2-wheeler companies having unsold BS4 stock are lined up with schemes, offers, and discounts to attract the buyers.

BS6 TVS Ntorq price in India

TVS Motor Company has launched the BS6 compliant NTorq 125 at a starting price of Rs 65,975 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. It has been introduced in three variants: Drum, Disc and Race Edition. The BS6 compliant scooter is nearly Rs 6,000-10,000 more expensive than the BS4 model. The power output and torque performance have been carried over from the existing BS4 scooter. Though, the sale of BS6 TVS Ntorq has commenced last month itself, but the company has released the official specifications a short while back.

Triumph Street Triple RS 2020 Launch in India

The 2020 next-gen Triumph Street Triple RS will be launched on March 25 in the Indian market. It will be the first BS6 compliant product from the British bike maker in India. The new motorcycle is expected to be priced around Rs 12 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) while it will come with substantial updates over the ongoing model which is priced at Rs 11.13 Lakhs. The 2020 Street Triple RS will be pitted against the likes of Yamaha MT-09, KTM 790 Duke and the Ducati Monster 821 in the country.

Harley-Davidson Street Series in Army Canteen India

Harley-Davidson India has announced that the BS6-compliant Street 750 and Street Rod will be available for sale at special prices through Canteen Store Departments (CSD) for armed forces personnel in India. As we speak, both motorcycles will be on sale for the armed forces, ex-servicemen and their dependents in the country. The Harley Davidson Street initiative of retailing bikes at the Army canteen will help the servicemen buy their dream bike. 

Honda Activa 125 and 6G & Dio BS6 Voluntary Recall

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced that new Honda Dio along with Activa 6G and 125 will have to be voluntarily recalled. The company has recognized a suspected quality issue in the rear cushion which could result in oil leakage or breakage and may lead to vehicle imbalance. It would replace the faulty part free of cost in the affected models which were manufactured between February 14-25, 2020.
