Explore a World Heritage Site

A full day's excursion will allow you to experience an abundance of marine life amongst exquisite coral reefs such as Staghorn, starfish and turtles. Rainforest exploration

Another World Heritage Site, Daintree Forest has been there since 1988 and is over 180 million years old, where certain plant species have existed alongside the dinosaurs. Experience the rainforest via jungle surfing on a guided zip line, whilst listening to fascinating facts, stories and legends.

Crocodile spotting

Crocodile express operates cruises along the Daintree River, you are sure to encounter young crocodiles and if you are lucky a Scarface! The dominant males in the region stand at 4.5 meters in length.

Head to 'On the Inlet

This little café overlooking Dickson Islet is a great place to see George, a 2-meter grouper who has been coming for his daily feed for decades. Get there early if you want the best viewing spots of George.

Fourmile beach at sunrise

Have a jog along this exquisite coastline at dawn and watch the sun rising above the aquamarine waters. Make some time to have a chat with some friendly locals who are very welcoming of visitors. Sail around Port Douglas on the catamaran 'Aquarius' on this 90-minute sail over the ocean. Canapes and bubbly are served on board, relax and take in the magnificent setting sun overlooking the seas.

Explore the marina boardwalk

Stroll through the marina and discover nice bars and restaurants along the way. Barbados and Hemingway's Brewery come highly recommended and is a great place for drinks and a tasty meal.

Mossman Gorge
