Bottle beach which is the colloquial name of the Haad Khuat is one of the least accessible beaches in the Koh Phangan. Unless you approach the beach from a boat ride from a neighbouring beach you would not be enjoying the trek to come to the beach from land.
If you prefer a quieter beach with fewer people and less hustle and bustle then your best option would be Haad Salad. Also known as the Salad Beach the beach is not yet one of the most sought after beaches as you are not able to take part in any water sports on this beach. There are many boats from different sizes but overall the atmosphere is quite calm and peaceful.
The two resorts that make the Thong Nai Pan Noi are two of the most popular resorts among the Koh Phangan Resort list. One of the resorts is called Thong Nai Pan Noi. Noi in Thai means small, making this the smaller resort out of the two resorts. Despite being the smaller resort there are many who come to the beach as you are able to enjoy the sun, sand and the sea without any interruptions. There are also many a Khophangan resort located closeby, the likes of Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas, that guests can choose for their convenient accommodation options in order to reach this beach with ease.
Thong Nai Pan Yai is the larger resort out of the two. The private beach similar to the smaller resort can be accessed only by the customers who stay at the resort making it a secluded and calm area to relax and wind down. If you are a visitor to the bar or the restaurants you are still able to access the beach which is what most locals opt for.
This beach becomes the busiest location in the island once a month as people from around the world gather to the location for the full moon parties. The Full Moon Parties in Haad Rin are known internationally for a location that is full of excitement, fun, music, dance and beach activities. The parties start at night and are known to go on till sunrise.
Malibu beach is one of the most popular beaches on the island and once you get to the beach and see the surrounding you are not surprised by its popularity. Malibu beach is located in a village known as Chalok Lam which is not a very developed village but is not gaining popularity due to the number of visitors that come to the beach. Apart from basking in the sun taking in the stunning view of the turquoise blue water and the trees, this beach is also popular for some exciting water sports. If you love snorkelling or diving then this is the ideal place for you.
Haad Yao is an impressively large beach that stretches for more than half a mile. There are plenty of visitors who come to the beach in Haad Yao to spend the day or spend the evening watching the sunset and treat yourself to a divine Thai dinner with the lull of the beach as background music.
