Visit Lotte World

Regarded as the world's largest indoor theme park, Lotte World comprises of its' main indoor theme park, an outdoor amusement park, a hotel, museum and several other featured installations providing visitors plenty to do no matter what their interests may be. Lotte World draws in about 7 million people each year and it's no surprise given the magical ambience it creates that enamours anyone who crosses its thresholds. If you're with family, there's no need to fret as they have rides and activities that accommodate children and as well as adults!

Don't Miss Everland!

While on the topic of theme park experiences, it would be a shame to not mention Everland. As South Korea's largest theme park and with the park ranking top 20 in the world, makes it a must on your to-do list. Did we mention that the worlds steepest wooden roller coaster is located at Everland?

Gyeongbokung Palace Guard Changing Ceremony

This vast complex was the palatial residence of the royal family during the Joseon Dynasty in 1395. After being abandoned for over 200 years after a devastating fire, the palace was rebuilt in the 18th century to its original condition making it a truly historic landmark to be visited in South Korea. One of the most popular things to do in Seoul, based on polling done by the Seoul Metropolitan Government is to watch the changing of the guard ceremony from 10 AM to 3 PM so be sure to check that out.

Experience Their Delicious Street Food

If you are simply searching for things to do in Myeongdong then Korean Street Food is what you need. If you simply look on the internet you are sure to be bombarded with a plethora of fried, boiled, steamed, dipped in sauce and wrapped in bread deliciousness that will leave you drooling. From Spicy Rice Cakes (tteokbokki) to Spicy Garlic Fried Chicken (Kkanpunggi), you are sure to come across flavours and aromas that is unlike anything you have ever tried before. Cheonggyecheon Stream

This popular recreational area is located about a 10 minutes walk from the building landmark of Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro and is a popular destination for the community to visit and spend an evening socializing or go for a morning walk. With its location being placed directly in downtown Seoul it holds a close place in peoples hearts, allowing them a respite from the major metropolitan buildings and the creating a piece of nature in the middle of the hustle and bustle.
