The NOC code Canada basically lists jobs and occupations that are in-demand and have shortage of manpower in local industries and labour markets in different Canadian provinces and territories. The NOC classifies occupations according to different skill types and requirements for different jobs in various industries.

The Recent Draw of Alberta PNP invited 191 Express entry candidates with the CRS score requirement of 300 points. In 2021 so far, the Province has selected 2100 immigration applicants.
Saskatchewan Province selected 295 applicants from Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand candidates. The shortlisted applicants were expected to have work experience in one of 62 occupations.
The new Express Entry selected 463 PNP candidates with a minimum CRS score of 751 points. It is 9 points less than the score requirement in the previous PNP draw.
It was not all bad news in Corona times; there have been some occupations that have seen a significant rise in employment as well. Nurses, Real estate agents, and salespersons, and Cleaning supervisors are included in that list.
