Male is the capital city of the country and is the most inhabited city. Beaches in the Maldives are a great location to try surfing for the first time. The waves are soft and tender and are not scary for those who have not tried surfing for the first time. A boat ride is a great way to explore Maldivian waters while enjoying the surrounding. If you leave in the morning or opt for a dolphin and whale spotting boat ride you just might be able to see some of the dancing dolphins and whales living their best life in their natural habitat.
