Gyeongbokgung Palace

This palace is arguably one of the most beautiful and grandest of the palaces here in Seoul. This name in Korean actually means 'Palace of Shining Happiness' and true to its name you find yourself sensing a beautiful feeling of joy when looking at this magnificent architecture. These premises were completely ruined by the Japanese occupation, which lasted from 1592 to 1598, by a fire. However, all the 7700 rooms have been restored. And now you can witness the beauty of it.

Myeongdong

This place is known for its cosmetics and fashion. This is one of the prominent shopping districts in Seoul and if this is an experience you are looking for, head out here to the capital. You can find everything, from the local brands to internationally known ones. You can easily spend a day out here without realising the time passing by. Bukchon Hanok Village

When in South Korea, or South Asia in general, you must make time for the traditional villages of this country. This village has a cluster of traditional wooden homes called the Hanok. It is a perfect place to take photographs and has a history that spans more than 600 years. The architecture is absolutely sublime, and you must walk around this area and find out all that intricate details that are thoroughly entertaining. Gwangjang Market

Another treat you can enjoy when you visit South Korea are its markets. And the most important one of them all is the Gwangjang Market which was one of the first markets here and specialises in silks, satins, linen, and local delicacies. The market until today continues to attract all kinds of tourists and locals and is one of the best places to try authentic street food. This market is open from Mondays to Saturdays from 9 am until 10 pm.

N Seoul Tower

This is an observation and communication tower that is situated on Mount Namsan. This is one of the iconic landmarks of Seaol since its appearance back in 1980. If you would like a panoramic view of the city then this is the place you have to head to. Visitors also enjoy the performances, exhibitions and movies that are held here.

Changdeokgung

This is another palace that you need to visit when in Seoul. This Palace displays current architecture at its best and the surrounding landscape and gardens are magnificent too. Displays reflect all the sophisticated and elegant architectural values and it is harmonised with the breathtaking surroundings. This palace is open to visitors from Tuesdays to Sundays from 9 am onwards till 5 pm. The palace is closed on Mondays.
