Oregon 2021 Top LBs

Keith Brown 6-1 230 LB Lebanon

COMMITTED: Oregon
Currently ranked the #1 ILB in the country. Helped himself immensely on the camp circuit. Should absolutely dominate 5A football in Oregon. It will be an interesting transition once in the spotlight for the Ducks.

Patrick Hisatake 6-5 235 OLB Clackamas

OFFERS: Maryland, Nevada
Hisatake has a stock that is rising quickly. His combination of size and speed are rare. This off season will be telling as his versatility makes him a double digit D1 offer type kid.

Jason Davis 6-2 210 LB Jefferson

OFFERS: Arizona St
Statistically he went off in 2019 earning 1st team all league honors. His 137 total tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks helped him grab his first D1 offer. With continued focus and progression he could be one of the best in the West.

Bryan Cuthbertson 6-1 240 LB Sherwood

The Pacific Conference Defensive POY. Just an absolute monster. Would not want to be the opposing RB. One of the more exciting LB's we've seen in some time. Plays with a junkyard dog type mentality. State leader in multiple statistical categories 158 total tackles (74 Solo).

Dyami Rios 6-2 210 LB McNary

Dyami has legit film. Earned 2nd team all league honors at LB (should have been 1st). 1st team on offense. Always playing at full speed, while showing off impressive anticipation. 98 total tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks on the year.

Colt Musgrave 6-2 215 Bend

Outstanding overall athlete. Son of former Duck great, NFL vet, current Cal coach Bill Musgrave. Played QB during the season but projects more at backer. Not much he can't do athletically. OSAA Alpine Ski Racing Champion. Has one of the fastest rising stocks of any athlete in Oregon.

Connor Stevens 6-3 205 LB Sunset

Really impressive athlete earning 1st team all league honors this past season. Moves very well to the ball, possessing legit size and speed. Will need to get out on the camp circuit to show what he can do against regional/national competition. Kid can play.

Sabastian Peffier 6-2 225 LB Gladstone

Big, fast, physical kid who not a lot of people know about because he plays 4A ball. His combination of size and speed could outweigh the lack of competition at the lower classification level. Has the potential of doing some big things on the camp circuit.

Riley Keppel 6-3 190 OLB Westview

Keppel is long and comes fast off the edge. He finished the year as one of the all time single season tacklers in schools history, also racking up 6 sacks 9 tackles for loss.

Hayden Ellis 6-4 190 OLB Ashland

Big athletic kid who will also play QB. Projects more on the defensive side of the ball having a monster Junior season, and earning 1st team all conference accolades. He is an appealing recruit due to his size and ability to play multiple spots on the field.

Cole Peters 5-10 190 WLB West Linn

Hands down one of the top defensive players in the state. Has the potential of being one of Oregon's all time leading tacklers. Racked up 1st team all conference accolades, making 130 tackles (98 solo), 10.8 tpg, 17.5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks and 4 forced fumbles. on the year. Kid is a monster just undersized for the position.

Ty Miller 6-0 200 LB Lake Oswego

Miller is a tough kid who continued to progress throughout the year. Had a couple big post season games after earning honorable mention all TRL accolades.

Ryan Mendiola 6-1 200 LB Beaverton

Mendiola will be one of the better players in the Metro League next season after earning 2nd team all conference honors in 2019. He will rarely come off the field with BHS graduating a deep class.

Will Verdine 6-1 220 LB Mountainside

Verdine was a big reason for Mountainside's success. His defensive performance earned him 2nd team All Metro honors, racking up a team leading 94 total tackles, 32 of which came during the state playoffs.

Jamison Price 6-1 205 LB Grant

Had a nice junior year earning 1st team all conference honors at LB. Versatile kid that can play on either side of the ball. Was consistently in the right place all season

Chad Overholt 6-2 215 LB Wilsonville

Has had back to back impressive seasons for one of the state's top 5A teams. Accounted for 70 total tackles and 4 tackles for loss, earning 1st team all NWOC honors. Just no film.
